About Will Appleyard

I communicate my passion for adventure through my photography, film production and writing. My first book "Discover UK Diving" became a best seller and I have raised awareness of many dive sites through this and my second book "Dorset Dives". Book three, "Wild and Temperate Seas" was published in Autumn 2020.

I am a commissioned photographer for National Geographic Traveller, contributor to DIVER magazine, Oceanographic magazine, BASE magazine, Frank magazine Sub Aqua (France) Let's Dive (Spain) Seven Seas, DIVER-NET, Dure and The Seasonals, to mention few. My photographic work has also been used in national press, adventure industry related media and advertising.

Currently growing my video production client base, I am working on several filming and editing projects for adventure sport based companies, balancing this with my documentary film making projects, of which we have one currently on the film festival circuit.

Living by the mountains, I'm often on the hill testing & reviewing products for adventure based brands.
