We have just finished work on our first documentary. Due to be released in early 2025, we have entered the documentary into a handfull of small film festivals... let's see how we get on. Once those festivals have run their course, we will then upload the documentary to our YouTube channel. This is to be the first of many to come.
This 30-minute documentary retraces the perilous routes taken by European Jews and refugees fleeing Nazi persecution and Franco’s regime during the late 1930s and early 1940s. Physically following their footsteps over the rugged Pyrenees, we uncover their stories of survival, resilience, and the human spirit. Through interviews with a descendant of a guide who aided the refugees, interviews with an expert on the escape routes, and rare black-and-white archival footage from the time, the film portrays a harrowing chapter of history, where courage and compassion crossed borders in the face of unimaginable terror.
